Ordering and delivery policy

After your order is accepted  and the goods are ready for despatch, you will be emailed a courier reference so you can keep in touch with all stages of the delivery process.

Normally, U.K deliveries and packages are delivered on a next working day basis.
If you are out the courier will leave a card, but please check with them if you have not received your delivery/package within 3 working days of despatch.
Please note any particular delivery requirements you may have in the 'special instructions' box at the checkout.
Additional charges will apply to deliveries to Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands, Channel Isles, Isle of Man and International. Standard charges will be applied at the checkout and we will contact you regarding the additional charges which will need to be accepted and charged prior to despatch.
Extra heavy items may incur additional delivery costs.

When placing an order for Bespoke Furniture, there is no right of cancellation. Once the order has been placed, full payment for the goods will allow delivery of your furniture. If you place an order, and make a deposit payment and then are unable to complete the payment, your deposit will not be refunded. Any order for bespoke furniture that has been paid in full will incur a 20% fee for cancellation.
Delivery of your furniture will be between 2-14 weeks, depending upon the furniture ordered. The customer must take measurements at the delivery address, ensuring full access is available for delivery, and furniture is non-returnable if measurements by the customer are incorrect.
Union Interiors cannot accept responsibility for delays in transit.

Please note:
*    We can only deliver to the ground floor of any address. If this is not the case then please advise beforehand.
*    Please ensure easy access for the delivery. Where an appointment has been made and we are unable to gain access will incur an extra charge and which will be calculated on a per occasion basis depending on distance and the volume of goods to be delivered. Please make sure that there is someone at home to accept delivery.
*    Please check your order against your purchase receipt. Any shortages must be noted on the delivery note. Any claim for orders not being fulfilled after you have signed for complete receipt of goods will be invalid. Please unwrap and check the items in front of the delivery driver before signing. Signing for goods as "unchecked" is not acceptable for any claims.If for any reason the driver is not cooperative in this respect, please call us directly on 01476 593 388

For the purposes of this policy we have assumed that the customer has taken measurements at the delivery address, ensuring full access is available for delivery, and furniture is non-returnable if measurements by the customer are incorrect.

You are deemed to place an order with us by ordering via our business address. As part of our ordering process you will be given the opportunity to check your order and to correct any errors. We will send you an order acknowledgement, detailing the products you have ordered.
Once the order is placed it cannot be cancelled unless you choose to return the items
If you return the items it must be returned within 7 days of receipt.
Please do your utmost to keep the original packaging as failure to do so will incur a charge for repackaging the item which will be passed onto the customer. The cost will be based per occasion and order.
We reserve the right to ask you for photographic evidence if the packaging has been damaged in transit.
Any damaged items will be replaced free of charge. Any claim for damages must be notified within 24hrs from the date of delivery of your order.
We will not offer a refund based on an item not meeting your requirement on colour match - samples can be requested prior to the placement of the order.
All sizes of furniture are approximations
None of this affects your statutory rights under Sales of Goods Act 1974.

Our acceptance of an order takes place when you place the order, thereby accepting our Terms and Conditions. When we despatch the order the purchase contract will be made, even if your payment has been processed immediately unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order or you have cancelled your order before us placing the order with our supplier.

We may be unable to accept an order:
(a) where goods have become unavailable;
(b) where we cannot obtain authorisation for your payment;
(c) if there has been a pricing or product description error; or
(d) if you do not meet any eligibility criteria set out in our terms and conditions.
