Union Interiors is like a jewel in the dull mediocrity of cloned modern town retail landscapes, housed in a completely refurbished Maltings building in Grantham with over 4500 sq ft of floor space.

It was launched by Hans Calvert, an interior designer, artist and writer in 2003, with the vision to offer an all too rare retail experience that would excite and inspire.

Union Interiors is all about great design, form and function and concentrates on distinctive home interior elements although the eclectic range of products stocked in this fascinating emporium is not limited by any of the usual retail typecasting.
Union Interiors is a gallery where everything, including original art and craft, furniture, accessories, glass, ceramics, tableware, jewellery etc. is displayed with a curator's eye. It is more a venue than a showroom - the dedicated following that it enjoys travel from all over the UK to spend time here, chilling, chatting and enjoying the excellent coffee and the peaceful atmosphere.

You can easily spend two hours wandering around without taking it all in - abstract paintings and craft from talented local painters and makers, furniture, from retro classic through modern contemporary to fusion, from all over Europe, flamboyant art glass from world renowned Scandanavian makers, tableware from Germany, Italy and France... the list goes on.

Union Interiors also offers an innovative and distinctive home interior design service, conceptual or fully project managed, with a style emphasis on a timeless retro, classic and contemporary merge. Design elements include fabrics and wall coverings from Designers Guild, Casamance, Ralph Lauren and Brian Yates - paint and paper from David Oliver's Paint Library - furniture from John Sankey, Henderson Russell, and Bontempi - accessories from Nextime clocks, Kosta Boda, Orrefors, Svaja, Eva Solo, Royal Copenhagen, Iittala, Missoni, Villeroy and Boch, Mats Jonasson, Chad lighting, Mathmos, Kelaty rugs, Bisque radiators and more...

It's just different.
